Do you need international pallet transport? This is just as easy as a national shipment. And we support you with questions about customs clearance. You can find more information on this under importing and exporting goods.
What are the pallet transport costs?
As always, the shipping rates for pallets are heavily dependent on various factors, such as the size and weight of the shipment or the choice of shipping service provider. If your pallet exceeds the maximum permitted size or weight, it must be shipped as bulky goods, which also affects the pallet transport prices. Please note that it may not be the actual weight that is the deciding factor, but the volume weight.
You can book standard or express shipping for standardised Euro pallets or special dimensions via LetMeShip.
Our price comparison calculator shows you the prices and transit times of all carriers for your selected pallet service. Simply set up a free, non-binding customer account or log in to your existing account.
What needs to be considered when transporting pallets?
Permitted weight
Depending on the shipping company, the use of a pallet is recommended or even mandatory from a weight of 30 kg. However, if your consignment weighs more than 70 kg, pallet transport is always mandatory. Euro pallets can carry loads of up to 1500 kg. However, shipping companies that transport pallets sometimes specify lower maximum weights.
Permissible dimensions
Euro pallets have standardised dimensions in order to make optimum use of freight capacities. They are available as full and half pallets measuring 80 x 120 or 80 x 60 cm. Larger consignments on special pallets or consignments where the goods overhang must be dispatched as a Special Service.
Special Service pallet transport
If your pallet exceeds the specified dimensions of 80 x 120 cm, this is a special dimension that must be requested separately. Our customer service can also help you with this: contact us by phone or email or submit a Special Service enquiry in your customer account. We’ll find the right solution!
