International shipping for parcels, pallets and documents
International shipping can involve numerous procedures, bureaucracy and external factors that influence the delivery times of your goods
Delivery times depend on what you want to ship – weight and size – the distance to the recipient country and the choice of shipping service provider. For Austria, our shipping platform offers you all internationally well-connected CEP service providers (courier, express and parcel) such as UPS, TNT, DHL and FedEx.
In principle, goods that are shipped within the free trade area have significantly shorter delivery times. This is because all import duties and customs formalities are eliminated and transport routes are shorter. With integrated shipment tracking (Track & Trace), you are always up to date on the current location of your shipment.
Sending parcels internationally
International shipping of parcels and packages is the most frequently booked shipping option by our customers. The maximum weight for a parcel is usually 31.5 kilograms. For conventional parcel shipping, the combined length and girth should not exceed 300 cm.
Express for parcels
Sending parcels by express is the fastest and safest solution. Thanks to guaranteed delivery times, you can plan the receipt of your goods down to the last detail. Express delivery usually takes between 24 and 72 hours. It may take longer for international shipments outside the EU that require customs clearance. We have already brought together all shipping service providers on our multi-carrier shipping platform so that you can keep track of your shipment and compare costs at any time.
Special services for parcels
Do you have parcels that need to be delivered on the same day, by air freight or accompanied by an on-board courier? As your shipping partner, we are always on hand to provide personal advice for these and all other special service requests. We will always work with you to find the right solution.
Send pallets internationally
Do you want to send many parcels to one delivery address in one shipment? Then pallet shipping is the best option for you. This allows you to bundle bulky or unpackaged goods or many parcels in one shipment so that they arrive in Austria undamaged. The dimensions of a europallet (full pallet) are 80 × 120 × 15 cm, and of a half-pallet 80 × 60 × 15 cm. The maximum weight of a full pallet is 70 kg.
The online booking platform allows you to choose between standard and express delivery and to send both full and half pallets. Easily compare prices from different delivery service providers and book directly online, then track your shipment with Track & Trace as it is transported.
Special services for pallets
As with parcels, you also have the option of booking additional special services for pallets through our Special Service. These include air freight, same-day delivery and the shipment of hazardous goods, which requires compliance with certain regulations. If your pallets have special dimensions or exceed a certain weight, our customer service team will be happy to advise you. Feel free to contact us in person.
Send documents internationally
When sending documents internationally, secure delivery is of the utmost importance. As with shipments of goods, you can easily view the prices of well-known shipping service providers using the price comparison and book them directly. Thanks to our special agreements with the shipping service providers, we can offer you attractive prices for international shipping.
Documents are defined as anything that fits into an envelope – except for goods. These are often urgently needed documents such as contracts, invoices or time-critical tenders that must arrive reliably in Austria from abroad. To keep an eye on the delivery of your documents at all times, simply use the integrated shipment tracking.
Sending documents internationally is always a matter of trust. We will provide you with a point of contact from your very first booking, who you can contact with any questions you may have.
Express delivery for documents
For particularly fast deliveries, we can offer express document delivery. Many of the shipping providers on our booking platform offer special express services (DHL Express, UPS Express, etc.). This way, you avoid time-consuming price comparisons on the websites of the individual shipping providers and have all carriers, including their prices and delivery times, at a glance.
Delivery times for international document delivery
The delivery times for international document delivery are shorter than for goods shipments. Documents are not subject to customs duties. Internationally operating shipping providers usually offer you short delivery times of about 1–4 days. If your documents need to arrive at your premises on the same day, we recommend our Same Day delivery service. Please note that Same Day delivery is not always possible due to the distance between the country of origin and Germany. If you are unsure which is the fastest option, please contact our personal customer service team.
We look forward to your enquiry.
